Information You Submit
A third-party results provider receives the name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details included in your message and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and visit times. We review combined statistics to maintain the site and understand which material is useful. Basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How Information Is Used
We use this limited information to operate the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to state or county records systems, archives, library collections, and outside search services. Information entered on those websites is governed by their policies rather than this one. Sponsored results are also supplied by an outside company under its own privacy terms.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process routine logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatically gathered information described above. Other disclosure occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards and Retention
Connections to the site are encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the stated purposes require. Because the site offers no visitor accounts, it does not keep a user password or account profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly obtain personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so that we can remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Chapter 42.56 RCW does not create a broad consumer right to delete Washington government records. Since we keep very little site data, a request generally involves reviewing our mailbox and server logs and deleting information within our control when appropriate. Send a request through the Contact page. Washington, Island County, and Oak Harbor agencies control their own records, so requests for correction or protection must be made to the relevant custodian. People who qualify may seek substitute-address protection through the Washington Address Confidentiality Program under chapter 40.24 RCW.
Changes to This Policy
